Operator: CraftyNord AB (Sweden) operates Toolporten and these public products.
Toolporten is provided as-is. Features may change. There is no SLA on the public website or on toolbox MCP. Toolbox credits are an internal metering unit, not legal tender. Each pack-sold public product (/remove-bg, /pdf-to-md) uses a separate entitlement (free daily cap, optional 10-pack, Pro unlimited on that product) — not toolbox credits. /make-qr is always free (website and public MCP) and does not use that entitlement. /product-shot uses the same daily free cap and Pro unlock, with no 10-pack SKU. /tools/stl-convert uses the same daily free cap (3 anonymous / 5 signed-in) and Pro unlimited, with no 10-pack — toolbox MCP still costs 1 local credit for stl_convert_format. /tools/video-to-gif, /tools/image-convert, and /tools/image-listing-carousel use the same daily free cap and Pro unlimited, with no 10-pack — toolbox MCP still costs 2 local credits for video_to_gif and 1 local credit for image_convert and image_listing_carousel_pack. There is no public /mcp/video-to-gif, /mcp/image-convert, or /mcp/image-listing-carousel plane. Pack remaining and daily meters do not cross products. /product-reel uses a separate weekly entitlement (UTC ISO week), not the daily cap.
Do not use the service for unlawful content. Pure-local tools (including image_remove_background) process inputs on the server that is deployed. Do not upload content you do not have the right to process.
The public cutout and the MCP tool are the same local heuristic. They are intended for product shots and simple studio photos. They are not ML hair/fur/glass quality and not remove.bg. Results may leave halos or holes. You are responsible for checking the PNG before you publish it.
Anonymous visitors without an active Pro subscription get 3 free uses per UTC day per public product (/remove-bg, /pdf-to-md, /product-shot, /tools/stl-convert, /tools/video-to-gif, /tools/image-convert, /tools/image-listing-carousel), keyed by IP hash + tp_dfp fingerprint. Signed-in visitors (Clerk website session or /mcp/{slug} OAuth) get 5 free uses per UTC day on that product. A further free call in that UTC day is denied until the next UTC day, a 10-pack is claimed (pack-sold products only), or Pro is active. Packs and daily meters do not cross products. Anonymous website packs are not merged onto an account on login. /make-qr has no daily cap and does not set tp_dfp.
/product-shot uses the same daily free cap (3 anonymous / 5 signed-in) and Pro unlimited, keyed by slug. There is no product-shot 10-pack and no tppsh_ code. The website filmstrip is one consume for the six-tool pipeline. Demo runs peek only and do not consume. The legacy ProductShotDailyUsage table is unused. Same tp_dfp cookie — not a second fingerprint cookie.
/product-reel does not use a UTC-day window. Anonymous visitors get 3 watermarked 720p tests per UTC week and 3 clean downloads per UTC week. Signed-in website / account MCP visitors get 3 clean downloads per UTC week. The week is the ISO week (Monday 00:00 UTC–Sunday 23:59:59 UTC). Counts live on ProductReelWeeklyUsage (UtcWeek = yyyy-Www) — not RemoveBgDailyUsages. A USD $10 / 10-pack (STRIPE_PRICE_PRODUCT_REEL_10, codes tprl_) and Pro unlimited still apply (30s source cap + rate-limit). Demo runs peek only. No free uses on kit /mcp/{toolboxId}. Website entitlement is not toolbox credits.
Each pack-sold public product (/remove-bg, /pdf-to-md) has its own one-time 10-pack Stripe Checkout SKU priced at USD $5 for ten additional uses on that product (STRIPE_PRICE_REMOVE_BG_10, STRIPE_PRICE_PDF_TO_MD_10). It does not add toolbox credits. Pack remaining is bound to the first Toolporten account (or anonymous identity) that redeems or claims it and cannot be moved to a second account. /make-qr is always free. /product-shot has no 10-pack SKU and no STRIPE_PRICE_PRODUCT_SHOT_10. /tools/stl-convert, /tools/video-to-gif, /tools/image-convert, and /tools/image-listing-carousel have no 10-pack SKU. If a pack-sold product’s price is unset, Buy 10 fails closed and does not charge another product’s price.
Refunds: unused pack remaining may be refunded within 14 days of purchase via Stripe (ask support with the Checkout session id). Removals already consumed from the pack are not refundable. Chargebacks after use may result in entitlement reversal.
An active or trialing Pro subscription (HasActiveSubscription) unlocks unlimited uses on /remove-bg, /pdf-to-md, /product-shot, /product-reel, /tools/stl-convert, /tools/video-to-gif, /tools/image-convert, and /tools/image-listing-carousel (website path and, where it exists, public MCP /mcp/{slug}). Unlimited means no daily (or weekly, for /product-reel) cap on that product; the service may still rate-limit or return busy under load. /make-qr is already unlimited without Pro. It does not mean infinite toolbox credits, and it does not spend one product’s pack on another. Toolbox image_remove_background remains 2 credits per call on /mcp/{toolboxId}. Toolbox stl_convert_format remains 1 local credit per call on /mcp/{toolboxId}. Toolbox video_to_gif remains 2 local credits per call. Toolbox image_convert and image_listing_carousel_pack remain 1 local credit per call.
Pro is offered in SEK (with a USD label). Public-product 10-packs are USD. Those are separate Stripe prices, not a third wallet.
